Gray Junior High to inform parents on how to stay safe in the event of an active shooter. “Surviving an Active Shooter” presentation was held Thursday, January 16, 2020. Parents were able to enjoy finger foods while they listened to Sr. Deputy Sheriff Garcia. The presentation was held in English and Spanish to accommodate all parents. Over 30 parents and students were present.

“After Columbine, we changed”, Said Sr. Deputy Garcia.

“Run, Hide, Fight, are the three things everyone should remember in case of an active shooter. Run if you can, hide if you can’t run, and fight as a last resort”.

At the end of the presentation, the first 3 parents that signed-in were able to take home a FREE life-saving tourniquet.
