Ms. Garcia's Education and Work Experience:
This year will mark my 30th year teaching scholars mathematics. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Science with a major in Mathematics from the University of Texas - Pan American in Edinburg, TX. I graduated from the university in May of 1994. I have a 6-12th grade math certification for life. For the first 20 years, I taught in McAllen ISD. I've also taught Algebra I to 7th and 8th grade scholars. Currently, I am in my tenth year at B. L. Gray Junior High teaching 7th grade scholars.
I am very happy working at B. L. Gray! There is a sense of community and family among all the stakeholders. Our ultimate goal is scholar success in all aspects of his or her life. I believe everyone is committed to do his/her best to accomplish this goal. I look forward to another wonderful school year!
