Alfaro, Hugo - Foreign Language

Welcome parents and students!
¡Bienvenidos padres y estudiantes!

Hello, my name is Mr. Alfaro. I am a 1996 graduate of East Texas Baptist University that is located in Marshall, Texas. I have a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Mathematics and Christian Ministries with a minor in Spanish. I have been a Math and Spanish teacher in the secondary level. My total experience working with students is 19 years, which 13 of those years have been with B.L. Gray Jr. High. I am very proud to work in an awesome school district. It is a privilege and honor to teach your child this coming year. My hope is to enrich your child with a new language and cultures of many Spanish speaking countries.
Any student interested in participating in the Chess Team, please notify me on being part of B.L. Gray Chess Knights regional and state champs. Practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch periods provided for respective grade levels. 7th graders will practice in Mrs. Skurka classroom and 8th Graders in Mr. Alfaro's classroom.
