About Me

All about Mr. B.

I have been teaching Middle School math
for Thirteen years. I have a Bachelor's
Degree in Business Management concentrating
in Human Resources and a Master's Degree
also in Business Management with two
concentrations one in Accounting and Finance,
and the other in Operations Management.

I was a Quality manager for 20 years before
making the career change to help students
prepare for the work place. I was older
when I decided to go back to school and get
my college degrees. It was the
best decision I have ever made.

I am married with two children. My wife,
Zulema, was the Librarian at Shimatsu Elementary School.
She was the founding member of the school.
Many of my students are surprised to know this
and say I am nothing like my wife. I still
don't know what they mean by that.

Mission For The Class

My mission is to create a challenging
yet comfortable learning environment
for all students which encourages
them to accomplish things they considered
to hard to learn. I do this by promoting
life-long learning skills, common sense
coupled with curiosity and pride of
ownership. Students will be able
to use their newly acquired knowledge in
real-life situations to become productive
members of society.
